While some directors might want its team to “recreate the vision” they have in their heads. I try to approach a process much more collaboratively. To create a safe environment where actors, designers and technicians can bring their own artistic experiences and perspectives to a project. My job is to lead those voices to create a final product that is beyond what any of us would have been able to individually.
